Tell me about Rishihood University.

Rishihood University is an impact-oriented initiative aimed at redefining higher education in India for the next 100 years. We currently house four schools, namely the School of Creativity, School of Education, School of Entrepreneurship, Rashtram School of Public Leadership and School of Education, and our campus is located in Sonipat, Delhi NCR.

Who are the founders of Rishihood University?

Rishihood University was founded by a group of philanthropists and impact-driven professionals who come from diverse fields of architecture, education, healthcare, and business. The University is mentored & supported by an esteemed Board of Governors.

Where is Rishihood University located?

Rishihood University is located in Sonipat, Haryana (Delhi NCR), which is one of the fastest-growing towns in the state. It is also the industrial hub of the region generating enormous employment opportunities. Sonipat has emerged as the educational hub of Delhi NCR with a large number of Universities and colleges located in close proximity to each other.

Is Rishihood University a recognized University?

Rishihood University, Sonipat has been established under the Haryana Private Universities Act (Amendment), 2020 and is empowered to award degrees as specified in section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. 

Why don’t you have AICTE approval?

Universities do not require any approval from the AICTE.

Do you have any tie-ups for Overseas Exposure of students?

Rishihood University has set out to create a foundation for international collaboration with several selected Universities across the globe. Such partnerships will provide an opportunity for students, teachers and researchers to collaborate both in teaching and research to solve some of the most challenging problems of contemporary times. Currently, Rishihood is collaborating with Ural State Agrarian University, Yekaterinburg, Russia and Kyungdong University, South Korea for joint research and exchange of students, faculty and researchers. Besides this, Rishihood also runs an International Immersion programme to provide cross-cultural experience to our students at the global platform. Some of these are structured around academics such as summer programmes at foreign universities. Some programmes such as study tours are designed to provide the student to have an opportunity to visit different countries and understand their life and culture. Costs of such programmes are not included in the fees and students have a choice to participate or not to participate in such programmes.

How can I apply to UG, PG and Fellowship Programmes?

To apply to any of the programmes, students can visit Rishihood website and apply. Our counsellors will get in touch with the applicant/student for further assistance as soon as application is made.

Is there any Online Admissions Test for admission in UG, PG and Fellowship programmes?

There will be Online tests for all our programmes. As students fill the application form and are done with the application payment, they will receive the online test link on their registered email IDs. For PG programmes students may have to appear for Interview and/or Group Discussion also.

How can I check the status of my admission application?

Students will receive a copy of the application form on the registered e-mail id , with the application number and check the admission status with their assigned counsellor.
