In every winter break, learners embark on a global business trek to immerse themselves in the world of international business. The visits are typically week-long. There is no tuition fee for the treks. The learners have to pay only for their logistics such as visa, air travel, local transportation, food, and accommodation.

  • Opening balance of Rs 10,000: Start with an opening balance of Rs 10,000 to be invested in stocks. With the mentorship of the faculty and peer learning, you will grow as you graduate
  • Startup Semester with Rs 1 Lac: Unlock the seed money after 4th semester and make something you love
  • Real-life Problem Solving: Get problem statements from real professionals working in real organizations. Apply your curriculum to find solutions
  • Internships: Summer breaks of 2 months for industry internships, family businesses, or your own project
  • Startup Semester: In the final semester, do a capstone project, be an entrepreneur in residence, or launch your own startup. Here you apply for venture funding at Rishihood

FAQs

Why is this a 4-year program?

This is a 4-year program for some important reasons:

  • The learning outcomes are such that you are ready for the workplace when you graduate. You should not need an MBA. So you are saving 2 years of MBA.
  • We have one semester dedicated to building your startup or being an entrepreneur in residence. We also give options of a minor in career-oriented fields like Computer Science and AI, or Economics. It is not feasible in a three-year curriculum.
  • 4-year is an internationally recognized undergraduate which is now also recommended by NEP in India.
  • Yet, if students want to exit after three years, they will get a BBA degree that is UGC-recognized.

I don’t want to build a startup. I want to get a job. Is this program for me?

Today’s job market is actively looking for graduates who have the right skill sets for problem-solving, teamwork, thinking innovatively, taking responsibility, and being accountable. This is called an entrepreneurial mindset. Rishihood trains you for that mindset.
