About
Ambika Bajpayee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Northeastern University, where she leads the Molecular Bioelectrostatics and Drug Delivery Laboratory. Her research focuses on targeted drug delivery, tissue engineering, bioelectrostatics, and exosome-based therapeutics. She earned her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and completed postdoctoral research with Prof. Robert Langer.
Her honors include the PECASE, NSF CAREER Award, NIH Trailblazer Award, and MIT's Women of Excellence Award. She is recognized by the World Bank for contributions to women's and children's health. She and her husband co-founded the Aarav Amar Bajpayee Foundation for Children. She is a member of the Board of Founders at Rishihood University.
