Motilal Oswal is the Group MD of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. (MOFSL), a company he co-founded with Raamdeo Agrawal in 1987. A Chartered Accountant, he has served on the Governing Board of the BSE, Indian Merchant's Chamber, and various committees of BSE, NSE, SEBI, and CDSL. He is a prominent member of the Board of Founders at Rishihood University.

Mr. Oswal has received numerous recognitions including the Rashtriya Samman Patra from the Government of India, the Udyog Rattan Award, induction into the Hall of Fame for Excellence in Franchising, and the Special Contribution to Indian Capital Market award at Zee Business's India's Best Market Analyst Awards 2009.
