Sanskrit Literature for Children By Centre for Human Sciences

We are excited to invite creative Sanskrit writers to participate in a research project aimed at producing children’s stories, rhymes, songs, small playlets, and short stories in the form of books. This project has been taken up by the Centre for Human Sciences, Rishihood University in association with Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, under the Ashtaadashi Scheme.

We encourage innovative content that is suitable for children, with simple language and containing five new Sanskrit words that are appropriate for the world of children. Each book should contain no more than 25 stories, poems, songs, playlets, or short stories. Moreover, each story, poem, song, playlet, or anecdote should not exceed one page in length.

In addition, we also invite books on navachar. If you have implemented any novel technique in your classroom teaching and have seen its impact, you are encouraged to share your innovative ideas, content, stories, anecdotes, ways, and methods of teaching.

The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2023. The content will be reviewed by experts, and if your submission is selected, you will be notified. If you do not receive any response after submission, please understand that your content has not been selected.

We are thrilled to receive your contributions and create an exciting collection of Sanskrit children’s books. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to your submissions!
