ITANAGAR, Aug 25: Chief Minister Pema Khandu has invited youths in the age group of 18 to 30 years to engage proactively in areas of public policy and governance by participating in the ATAL Conclave scheduled to be held from 22 to 24 September.
He called upon the youths to get themselves registered by logging on to www.atalconclave.in.
The ATAL (Arunachal Transformation & Aspirational Leadership) Conclave would provide a platform to help tap the potential of the state’s youths to contribute towards ideation of policies, creating a proactive demand for suitable policies, proposing solutions to existing challenges, engage in live chats and discussions, hanging out with leaders for their feedback and commitment on the proposals and solutions, and, finally, culminating it all through opportunity to work with leaders/government to put the selected ideas to action.
It would provide an opportunity to around 150 youths of Arunachal Pradesh, working in teams, to put their heads together, based on the theme of ‘Vision 2040: Opportunities and challenges for New Arunachal’, and come up with ideas and policy proposals during the deliberations on five to six key thematic areas.
The conclave will consist of a three-day congregation of 1000 youth participants from across the state. The participants will brainstorm and present their ideas, proposals and solutions before expert panels.
