A guest talk on Japan’s rich aesthetic culture was organised by the Centre for Human Sciences at Rishihood University on 8th July 2022 in which Nupur Tewari ji, Japan’s official representative of Hindi Khabar spoke on the beauty and intricacies of Japanese lifestyle. She spoke extensively on how Japan’s culture has essentially been imported from India a long time ago by the propagation of Buddhism and the need for us to learn back from that culture. She put emphasis upon religious and cultural harmony in Japan and the role of respecting others as ourselves in bringing about this cultural and social acceptance. She also talked about the problems Japan is facing currently, particularly the high suicide rates, and the ways it can be countered.
