Akshay Kulkarni is a hospitality professional with 25 years of experience. Through his career, he has held multiple leadership roles across various geographies and businesses. Having being involved in multiple startups he has had the opportunity to build and grow businesses ranging from operational hotels, educational institutions and consulting practices across Asia. His current role involves setting up and managing a tech business across the Asia Pacific Region. He has also been involved in 2 tech startups relating to online alternate accommodation and also online procurement marketplace for hospitality.

 

He has always followed an “out of the box” path but remained true to hospitality and education wherever he has gone and has believed in the growth of human capital. His experience ranges from Material management, operating hotels, setting up and running educational institutions, hospitality consulting and brokerage, Hospitality asset management and investments and also hospitality project management and technology.
