Anurag Goel serves as the co-founder and CEO of Cactus Communications. Since 2002, he has played a crucial role in transforming the organization from a start-up into a globally respected communications company, with offices in Japan, the US, South Korea, China, and India. CACTUS is currently acknowledged for its industry-leading people practices and has consistently ranked among the Top 20 Best Places to Work in India for three consecutive years (2012, 2013, 2014). Anurag also serves on the board of founders and advisors at Rishihood University.
In the early stages, Anurag took a hands-on approach by overseeing delivery teams, defining quality standards, and directly managing top performers to establish systems and foster leadership. Today, he focuses on strategy, business development, and cultivating leaders to propel CACTUS to the next level while preserving its inspiring culture.
Before joining CACTUS, Anurag worked at McKinsey & Company. Initially based in Amsterdam and later in India, he engaged in corporate finance and strategy projects for companies across various industries, including logistics, metals and mining, steel, telecommunications, and financial services.
Anurag holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a BAS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating from the prestigious Jerome Fisher Dual Degree Program in Management and Technology.
