Dr. Jeevan Deep Sehgal has more than 23 years of experience in corporate and academia. Dr. Sehgal is a Ph.D. from Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences at O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). He has completed his one year PGCHRM from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and two year full time post-graduation from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi. He is a graduate of the University of Delhi in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He is also UGC Net Qualified.
Non Teaching Experience
Before joining Rishihood, Dr. Sehgal’s was associated with Jio Institute, Navi Mumbai as Head HR. Prior to this, he was associated for around 6 years with O.P. Jindal Global University as Associate Professor and Additional Director, HR . He has also worked in corporates like PeopleStrong, Orange Business Services, 3i Infotech and Alcatel. He has extensive exposure in the areas of academic HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, HR Shared Services, HR Technology, HR Transformation & Change Management, Strategic HR, and HR Consulting.
Teaching Experience
Dr. Sehgal has taught courses like Organizational Development and Management of Change, Compensation Strategies and Employment Laws, Consumer Psychology, The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, and MIS with Excel & Storytelling through PowerPoint at JGU. He has worked as a visiting faculty for Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) -School of Vocational Education and taught courses on Performance Management, Recruitment, and Training & Development. He has also volunteered with “Teach India”.
Research Interests
Dr. Sehgal has co-authored a book titled ‘Strategic Compensation Management & Design’, published by Bloomsbury. He has also published a scopus indexed book chapter titled ‘Workplace Spirituality and Psychological Contract in the “New Normal” published in the book Spirituality and Management by Springer, Singapore. He has presented papers in International conferences organised by institutes such as SEE Institute, Dubai and XISS, Ranchi
Dr. Sehgal’s is interested in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Behavioural Sciences, and Sustainability.
