Dr Kavita Gupta is a management professional, trainer & an academic. Her forte is cultural entrepreneurship. She has 24 years of rich and diverse cross-sectoral experience in higher education and training, social projects, and industry.
As an academic, she has taught at premier institutions like Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar, Banaras Hindu University and G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, Prayagraj. She has also imparted crucial capacity building for SIEMAT, NIEPA, ICAI and at various national level Faculty Development Programmes. Her fervour for projects at grassroots level has led her to contribute meaningfully to projects for UNDP, Chakshu Inc., and INTACH. She has also led her team successfully at Fabindia Overseas Private Limited and Vindhya Telelinks private Limited.
Her doctoral research is in the domain of Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Management which was skilfully used to mentor on various platforms like NEN, Cherie Blaire Foundation and Wadhwani Foundation. She has been associated with IIM Lucknow on research projects. She is the founder of Dus Dishaa, an initiative to foster heritage and culture appreciation through walks, events and workshops where she collaborated with multiple organizations like Indigo, Cultre, Sahapedia to name a few. She is currently the Convener of INTACH Sonipat Chapter too.
