Saurabh Basu Chowdhury started his journey as an intern and was promoted to manager at Rishihood University based on his hard work and dedication. He completed his schooling from D.P.S. Noida. After completing his MBA from the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, he pursued a PG Diploma in Journalism from Delhi University. He was selected for the YES Bank Media For Social Change Fellowship and was amongst the top 20 fellows all over India, receiving the “Outstanding Performer Award”.
He was also chosen for a fully funded two-month “Wildlife Management Cohort Program” under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India in WWF India, Delhi Office. He has interned with organizations such as the Korean Cultural Council of India, the National Gallery of Modern Art (Ministry of Culture, Government of India), Viacom 18, IndiaMART, Harvard University South Asian Institute, Indian School of Development Management (ISDM Noida), Times Internet, Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP), Zomato India, University of Chicago – Delhi Office, and UNESCO – MGIEP.
He has volunteered with United Nations Volunteers, WWF India, UNDP – Josh Talks, Youth Ki Awaaz Media, and India Art Festival 2020. He also worked as a Research Analyst and founding team member for AAROOGYA (a Social Enterprise). Saurabh enjoys learning new skills.
