Education and research are explicitly recognized in a number of SDGs, and universities have a direct role in overcoming these problems. However, the contribution of universities to the SDGs is much broader as it can support the implementation of all SDGs as well as the implementation of the framework of SDGs itself. How Rishihood is Contributing to the SDGs?
For Convenience, let us take a step by step approach that how Rishihood will be contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals. In the first, Research is the backbone to transform the world, research on SDGs through our Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary coursework will be impactful in finding innovative solutions for global challenges. Research leads to national and local implementation of SDGs. Education on the second helps in mobilising young people and in the Capacity building to achieve a healthy future. Through education, we create jobs for implementing the SDGs. Hence creating the leaders of the future. Operations and Governance at our university are also aligned with the SDGs. We believe in community engagement, dialogue and action. We focus on creating leaders of tomorrow who will be pioneers of policy development and advocacy.
