About

Sakshi is working as assistant professor of Mathematics at SASTech (Sajjan Agarwal School of Technology), Rishihood University. She earned my Doctorate in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus. She's also qualified several prestigious national-level examinations, including CSIR-JRF (AIR 56) and GATE (AIR 46), and have been a recipient of the INSPIRE Scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Alongside her research, she gained substantial teaching experience as a teaching assistant at BITS Pilani, instructing courses in Time Series Analysis, Probability & Statistics, Applied Statistical Methods, and Statistical Inference.

Her research work encompasses time series analysis and forecasting using statistical time series models, machine learning techniques, and probabilistic formulations, with a specific focus on short-term to long-term prediction of renewable energy resources, particularly solar irradiance and wind speed. She employed a broad spectrum of methodologies in her work, including regression analysis, signal processing techniques, deep learning architectures, and transformer-based models, to develop robust and accurate forecasting frameworks for photovoltaic power plants and wind energy systems.
