Prof.Sakshi Shukla
About
At present, I am working as an assistant professor of Mathematics at SASTech (Sajjan Agarwal School of Technology), Rishihood University. I earned my Doctorate in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus. I have also qualified several prestigious national-level examinations, including CSIR-JRF (AIR 56) and GATE (AIR 46), and have been a recipient of the INSPIRE Scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Alongside my research, I have gained substantial teaching experience as a teaching assistant at BITS Pilani, instructing courses in Time Series Analysis, Probability & Statistics, Applied Statistical Methods, and Statistical Inference.
My research work encompasses time series analysis and forecasting using statistical time series models, machine learning techniques, and probabilistic formulations, with a specific focus on short-term to long-term prediction of renewable energy resources, particularly solar irradiance and wind speed. I have employed a broad spectrum of methodologies in my work, including regression analysis, signal processing techniques, deep learning architectures, and transformer-based models, to develop robust and accurate forecasting frameworks for photovoltaic power plants and wind energy systems.
