ऋषिवाक्यम् – Thus says the Rishi

अग्ने व्रतपते व्रतं चरिष्यामि

तच्छकेयं तन्मे राध्यताम्।

इदमहमनृतात् सत्यमुपैमि॥

agne vratapate vrataṁ cariṣyāmi

tacchakeyaṁ tanme rādhyatām

idamahamanṛtāt satyamupaimi

This mantra from Yajurveda (1.5) is a prayer to Agni; the divine will power in human consciousness. Rishi Yajnavalkya gives humanity a prayer for awakening the presence of Agni within the heart. It translates to “O Agni, be well awakened within me, so then I can follow the vow. By your blessings, O Agni, may I be able to do that? And my vow is to move from the falsehood to the truth.”

The highest aim of life is to transcend all limitations and narrowness and attain the vastness of consciousness. You can experience real happiness in the infinite and gather the solutions to our life problems that lie in the vastness of consciousness.

The real home of Agni contains the truth, the right and the vastness which can be attained by awakening its presence within ourselves. Thus, when this wonderful prayer is done sincerely with purity and devotion, the power of Agni increases in the consciousness.

One can make this prayer as part of their daily routine and recite it by beginning and ending with OM.
