UnHackathon 2023

Overview

Our minds and bodies are under a heavy influence of external factors. Food, lifestyle, and the digital world have ‘hacked’ our minds and bodies. We need to unhack.

Eligibility and Registration:

  • The unhackathon is open for students in Grade 11, Grade 12, or just completed Grade 12 (or in the age group of 16 to 19 years)
  • Registration fee is Rs 500 inclusive of hackathon fee, snacks, stationary, and goodies

Prizes:

  • The top three teams will get a prize of Rs 50,000 per team
  • All participants will receive a certificate

What to Bring:

  • Personal items such as basic toiletries, phone charger, towel, etc.

What not to Bring:

  • Luxury items, excessive cash, laptops

Teams:

All participants have to register individually. During the UnHackathon, you will form teams of 5. You will have the choice to decide your team members. Even if you don’t know anyone else at UnHackathon, you will be allotted a team and get ample opportunity to know your team members.

UnHackathon 2023 Schedule

Friday, 28th July 2023

We will introduce the problem statement to the participants and have a webinar around 7 pm.

Saturday, 29th July 2023

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM – Breakfast
  • 09:00 AM – Registration
  • 10:00 AM – Inaugural session
  • 11:00 AM – Team Registration (minimum 5 students in each team ) + Start Working on Solutions
  • 03:00 PM – Display of posters
  • 04:00 PM – closing ceremony + prize distribution
  • 06:00 PM Onwards – CAMPUS VISIT + WORKSHOP + FUN ACTIVITIES

Frequently Asked Questions

Can parents or teachers accompany the participants?

Parents and teachers can accompany the participants and be in the campus during the day. For night stay, we have empannel nearby hotels that the guests can book as per their convenience.

Travel: How to arrive at the venue?

The campus is conveniently accessible via road, air, and rail. Participants can come to Jahangirpuri Metro Station on Delhi Metro. Shuttle buses will take the participants from the Jahangirpuri Metro Station on Delhi Metro.

Safety and Security: Where will the participants stay? How safe is the campus?

Rishihood is a residential campus with 24×7 security. All participants stay within the campus during the entire duration of the hackathon.

Students from which stream are eligible?

This is a problem-solving hackathon that welcomes diverse ideas and skills. Students from any stream are welcome to register.
