Absolutely! The Expedition welcomes NRIs and foreign citizens interested in learning about global governance and policy frameworks.
No. The World Governance Expedition is an immersive travel program that will require commitment of at least 15 hours a day.

Certificate of Completion
Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from in-house Rishihood faculty. This is subjected to your excellent performance in the program coursework as well as on discretion of the undersigning faculty.
Internship opportunities subject to availability

The Admissions Team will review the application within 1 week of submission and communicate the application status to the candidate. An online interview may be conducted if required.
Selected candidates should pay the program fee within 5 days of receiving the selection mail to confirm the admission.
Admissions will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis, or until the maximum intake (as determined by Rishihood) for the cohort is met, whichever happens earlier.
Yes. There can be an attractive discount for group enrollment in the Governance Expedition. Please get in touch with the admissions team beforehand regarding it.
In case you are not able to join the WGE program due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. The organization shall refund all the costs except the utility charges as per below-mentioned guidelines
(a) 75% refund: if you cancel 30 days before commencement of the WGE.
(b) 50% refund: If you cancel 20 days before commencement of the WGE.
(c) 25% refund: If you cancel 10 days before commencement of the WGE.
(d) No refund: If you cancel after commencement of the WGE.
Also, as per our deferral policy, an applicant cancelling the program before the World Governance Expedition commences has the option to defer the candidature for subsequent WGE edition with the condition that the difference in fees for both years is to be settled by the candidate in the year of participation.

Yes, participants who complete the entire Expedition and submit their assignments will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from Rishihood University.
The 10-day journey will cover key governance projects, cultural hubs, and interactions with policymakers across the 5 cities of Japan namely-Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Osaka and Tsukuba. Detailed schedules will be shared with selected participants.
The Expedition will give delegates opportunities to meet and interact with Japanese Government officials, Senior Executives from government, social, private and cultural organisations, Indian Ambassador to Japan and other seniors and changemakers.
We will be going to Tokyo, Yokohama, Tsukuba, Kyoto and Osaka.
Yes, delegates are required to work on live projects and case studies during the expedition. These assignments are designed to provide practical insights into governance models and allow delegates to apply their learning to real-world scenarios.
Delegates will stay in quality accommodation facilities and travel in comfortable and secured transport (Train and High-End Bus) for the duration of the Expedition.
Delegates will be served nutritious and delicious meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, with a focus on regional and diverse cuisines to enrich the immersive experience.
Delegates can expect diverse weather conditions depending on the locations visited in Japan, with temperatures ranging from a comfortable 15°C to 25°C. The beautiful sakura season of Japan will welcome us with its vibrant hues and pleasant atmosphere. Specific climate details will be shared closer to the program date.
Delegates are advised to pack comfortable clothing suitable for a spring to mildly cold weather, durable footwear for travel and site visits, personal essentials, and any required medications. A detailed packing checklist will be provided before the expedition.
