Universities need to go back to the drawing board and start from the very purpose of education. Indian philosophers have articulated these ideas for centuries. It is time to revisit those ideas and apply them to contemporary higher education needs. Ones who base themselves on sound and timeless fundamentals have a better shot of seeing through this crisis and thriving.
