ABOUT
The Centre for Human Sciences, Rishihood University and Strings ‘N’ Steps jointly organise a two day workshop to set the poetic excellence of Bhavani Bharati into rhythmic motion.
Do you remember, as children most of us have danced to rhymes while learning a language? Why ? Because dance is the easiest way of expressing ideas. Language is the expression of thoughts. Dance transcends the thoughts both to the inner self and to spectators in poetic or creative way. Hence it’s called ‘Poetry in motion’.
Bhavani Bharati, a poem in Sanskrit that invokes the Mother India as Bhavani Bharati. Composed in 99 verses by Sri Aurobindo this poem has immense power to arouse the Shakti within. In this workshop selected verses will be taught through dance. Here the students will learn the significance of this poem, meanings of the verses set into dance, movements and expressions. Finally there will be a Choreographic presentation on Bhavani Bharati.

Requirements:
• A mind which would like to learn new things and love to face the challenges.
• Interest in creative movements/ expression/ dance/acting/poetry/singing/Sanskrit/India.
*Students will receive a certificate of participation.
Fees: INR 1500 (2 days)
The workshop will be both online and offline.
The candidates participating offline will have to take care of travel, boarding and lodging by themselves.
