The World Governance Expedition (WGE), initiated by Vision India Foundation in 2016, is a 10-day immersive program designed to expose future public leaders to global best practices in governance. Now in its 7th edition, WGE allows participants—students, professionals, and aspiring policy leaders—to engage directly with accomplished policymakers and explore successful governance models. Japan, a global leader in technology, sustainability, and urban planning, is the destination for this edition, offering insights through visits to cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama, and Tsukuba. Participants will explore Japan’s smart city planning, disaster management, environmental stewardship, and holistic education system through expert-led engagements.

The Expedition program is designed for dynamic individuals who are willing to build a career in the domain of public policy, governance, and public leadership. A maximum of 25 delegates will be taken in for the program. The program is appropriate for:

Application shall be reviewed and the selection communication will be sent within 7 working days of application submission.
Selected candidates will have to pay the programme fee within 15 working days of receiving the confirmation email.
Admissions will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis until the maximum intake.
