If you are a Class 12 student exploring BBA programs and if you’re wondering why you need to wait four years in college to build something of your own, you’ve landed at the right blog.
At Rishihood University, BBA in Entrepreneurship students are not waiting for four years to start their ventures. They are launching startups while attending lectures, winning national competitions being mentored by their professors, and landing internships by meeting founders directly. And all this is a part of their BBA curriculum.
Instead of asking what students should study to get jobs, the program begins with a more important question, “What should students achieve by the time they graduate?” This unique approach has translated into real outcomes. And we’re very proud to share some of these stories with you.
Launching Unique Startups
‘Startup’ has suddenly become a buzzword, especially in the last few years of the changing job market in India. Most people work in a corporate job for a few years, realize they want something or their own, quit their jobs and finally, start building their dream startup.
But what if you could do that with your friends in your first semester? Here are some students who are living their startup dream using Rishihood’s startup incubation program called the Venture Studio even before they turn 20.
Parth Vardhan Saxena, Founder & CEO of TruPahadi
As a third-year student, Parth has built Tru Pahadi, a clean food brand that has been incubated by Indian School of Business’ I-Venture which aims at selling food products from Uttarakhand focusing on using 100% organic, natural ingredients with no refined sugar or artificial preservatives. As a brand, it is not fixated on just making profits but providing Indians with clean food products and employment to the rural women of Uttarakhand. His startup is already evaluated at ₹1 crore with multiple investors and has received its first few big corporate orders.

2. Shaurya Mittal, Co-founder of Hastakala
In his second-year, Shaurya founded Hastakala, an online marketplace dedicated to empowering Indian artists and artisans. It enables artists to sell their creations through both digital formats and print-on-demand products such as posters, merchandise, and curated art prints. It was founded to help artists showcase their creativity while ensuring they are paid fairly for their work. From 2 co-founders, their student team has now grown to 25 people and their sales have already crossed six figures.

Maanit Agarwal, Co-Founder & Brand Strategist at Brandopia
In the first semester itself, Maanit built his own digital marketing agency working with national and international clients by helping them build their brand. Brandopia is a digital-first agency reimagining how brands are built. From branding to UI/UX design to web and mobile development, they empower businesses and individuals to rise from the ground up. Their vision is simple: turning brands into a digital force that inspires, connects, and endures.

These are not rare exceptions. They are the result of a curriculum that treats building as learning and facilitates your dreams through our startup incubator with a $5M Makers’ Fund, open for all students.
Dominating National Competitions
When students regularly work on real problems, pitching ideas and defending titles becomes second nature. This shows clearly in how Rishihood students perform at national and international competitions.
Aditya Mohite won entrepreneurship competitions at IIT Jodhpur & IIT Bombay
In his first year, Aditya Mohite has participated in competitions collaborating with batchmates from tech programs giving an edge to his team by bringing unique business insights to national-level pitching and case competitions. He has participated in multiple competitions like Designathon, Absurd Pitching, and the National Entrepreneurship Challenge e-Summit in reputed universities like IIT Bombay and IIT Jodhpur and won laurels for Rishihood while competing with IITians and MBA graduates.
Riddhi Singhal & Dipanshi Garg win the 1st Prize at Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2025, Hult Prize at IIT Bombay
Riddhi and Dipanshi secured 3rd place internationally at the Hult Prize Global Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2025, organized in collaboration with IIT Bombay. They stood out among 2500+ participants from 6 countries, after a month of masterclasses, workshops, and problem-solving challenges. Their idea was a smart, safety-focused travel companion app for students navigating new cities was praised for its real-world relevance and clarity. The platform helps young travellers find safe routes, verified cab fares, trustworthy vendors, nearby accommodation, and emergency support.

Their success reflects the confidence that comes from the right mentorship, building and problem solving consistently, not just preparing for competitions at the last minute.
Securing the Right Internships
Internships at Rishihood University are not treated as a checkbox. They are treated as an extension of learning.
Khushi Ansari & Harshit Bhatnagar at Beavake
Khushi and Harshit, both landed an internship with Beavake, a sustainable fashion startup founded in 2025 by Puneet and Jyoti Jolly, specializing in handcrafted and feather-light bags. Additionally, we also hosted co-founder Puneet Jolly on campus recently for a session on entrepreneurship where he interacted with all our BBA students and gave them real-world business advice. Interacting with founders helps learners decide which companies are the right fit for them.

Anil Kumar & Raghav Kumar at Climate.AI
Anil and Raghav have commenced a three-month paid internship with Climate.AI. Founded by Stanford alumni in 2017, ClimateAi has built the first climate resilience platform, pioneering the application of artificial intelligence to mitigate the impact of climate change. They secured this internship with the help of their professors and their industry connections who help them uncover such opportunities.
