About
Archana is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Fashion & Textile Department at the School of Design, Rishihood University, she brings over 30 years of experience in teaching, industry, and research. Her expertise includes pattern making, garment construction, CLO 3D, weaving, hand embroidery, and sustainable design. Her PhD examines skill-oriented vocational education for rural women. A Ministry of Culture Senior Fellow and Ministry of Textiles empanelled designer, she works at the intersection of technology, heritage textiles, and sustainability.
