The University Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty, and visitors of the university. This position is the first point of contact for anyone visiting or calling the university and is responsible for creating a positive and professional image of the university.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or person.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and the public.
• Provide information about the university and its programs, events, and services.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining files of the operations department.
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelorette graduate with a relevant degree.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that requires the receptionist to work during regular business hours, Monday to Saturday. Some occasional evenings or weekends may be required for special events or meetings. The receptionist will work in an office setting and may need to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic community experience manager who is passionate about education and has a flair for creating and curating engaging content. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the educational sector, particularly in enhancing the learning journey of high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and create compelling content tailored to high school students, including educational articles, engaging videos, interactive quizzes, and discussion prompts.
• Engage with the student community to understand their interests, challenges, and content preferences.
• Work closely with the content team to develop a content strategy that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our mission.
• Monitor and evaluate user engagement with the content to identify trends, preferences, and areas for improvement.
• Contribute innovative ideas for new content formats and engagement strategies to keep the community vibrant and active.
• Ensure the content is informative, accurate, and inspiring, encouraging students to explore new ideas and pursue their interests.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelors in any field
• Minimum 6 months of work experience required
• A strong interest in content creation, curation, and a passion for impacting the lives of high school students is essential. A broad knowledge base is also required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
• Creative and innovative thinker with a knack for storytelling and creating relatable content.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Basic proficiency in digital content creation tools and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work culture.
