The Doctoral program at Rishihood aims to nurture researchers and provide them a platform to pursue their research ideas and work on them further under the able guidance of eminent faculty members of the University. Our Ph.D. program in Computer Science (CS) is dedicated to fostering the next generation of impactful researchers who will tackle the ever-evolving challenges of this dynamic field. We offer this through a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that strikes a balance between theoretical foundations and practical applications. Our Ph.D. program in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) is dedicated to exploring and preserving the vast corpus of traditional Indian knowledge, integrating it with contemporary academic research to address modern challenges. We delve into the rich heritage of IKS, encompassing philosophy, science, literature, art, and spirituality, to foster a holistic understanding and application of this ancient wisdom.

Application Fee: A scholar can make more than one application and there is no application fee for applying for the program.
Semester Fee: A fee will be charged each semester as per University rules / norms applicable from time to time. For the Batch starting in 2024, the scholars will have to pay a one-time fee of Rs. 15,000 towards registration (which is refundable) and a semester fee of Rs. 15,000 per semester.
Stipend and Perks: All residential Ph.D. students will receive a competitive stipend along with accommodation at Rishihood University Residency (twin sharing basis) and food facilities in the Dinning Hall.
Rishihood offers competitive funding packages, including stipends, scholarships, and research grants to ensure students can focus on their research without financial burdens. The funding is based on the grant that sponsors the research project.
