Dr. M. Chitra

Associate Professor, School of Entrepreneurship

Dr. M. Chitra is the Associate Professor  in  School of Entrepreneurship, Rishihood University, Sonipat, Haryana. She has 25 years of rich academic experience having served as faculty member at various educational institutions. Before joining Rishihood, Dr. M. Chitra has served as Head, Department of Entrepreneurship in SRMIST and as Head, Department of Business Administration in Bharath College of Science and Management. She also served as Academic Counsellor in Bharathidasan affiliated institutions.

She is with passion and commitment to mentor young talents towards entrepreneurial growth and she has published number of journals in the field of entrepreneurship.  Her areas of interest spread to Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Human Resource Management. She has co-authored many research papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings.  She has authored a book titled “Women Entrepreneurs with reference to beauty clinics in Chennai”, published by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing.

She has organized various events related to entrepreneurship in collaboration with Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation (PTM), SRMIIC, BYST, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) – Government of Tamil Nadu and many others. She has conducted 7 editions of E-week to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset among students.
