Introducing Prakhar Sharma- Manager, Research and administration at VC Office, an advocate for social change and community development. Prakhar’s academic journey began with a BA(H) in English from the University of Delhi, but his unwavering desire to make a difference led him to pursue a Master’s in social work, specializing in livelihoods and social entrepreneurship at TISS Mumbai.
Prakhar’s career began with impactful grassroots work in diverse remote locations across Bharat, including an internship in Nepal, where he honed his understanding of community challenges, particularly in the realm of education. His practical experiences led him to NTPC Limited, where he served as a CSR Executive in Madhya Pradesh, focusing on addressing educational issues at the grassroots level.
Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive understanding of policy-making, Prakhar earned a prestigious scholarship from the Government of India to study at the esteemed London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). At LSE, he co-founded the India Policy Forum, a platform dedicated to fostering discussions among policy actors to address critical issues in the Bharatiya context.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Prakhar is an avid traveler, finding inspiration in exploring diverse cultures and communities. He also practices meditation and spirituality, drawing upon Bharat’s rich heritage. Prakhar’s multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication underscore his commitment to creating a positive impact on society.
