Prakhar Sharma is a dynamic professional with a passion for making a difference. Holding a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Delhi, Prakhar’s journey into the social sector began with an unwavering commitment to creating positive change. This commitment led him to pursue a Master’s in Social Work, specializing in livelihoods and social entrepreneurship, from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai.
Prakhar’s career is marked by impactful grassroots work across remote regions of Bharat, including a formative internship in Nepal. These experiences deepened his understanding of community challenges, especially in education. He then brought his expertise to NTPC Limited as a CSR Executive in Madhya Pradesh, where he dealt with policy and governance issues at the grassroots level.
Eager to broaden his understanding of policy-making, Prakhar earned a prestigious scholarship from the Government of India to study at the renowned London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). At LSE, he co-founded the India Policy Forum, a platform aimed at fostering discussions among policy actors to address critical issues in the Bharatiya context.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Prakhar is an avid traveler, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and communities. He is also deeply engaged in meditation and spirituality, embracing Bharat’s rich heritage. Prakhar’s multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication highlight his commitment to creating a positive societal impact.
