Vaibhav Sharma

Assistant Professor, School of Creativity

Vaibhav Sharma is a visual artist. He did his post-graduation in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture, and has received the Scholarship for Young Artists from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India; and the Krishnakriti Fellowship for Young Artists to Marseilles, France. His works extend from conceptual, experimental, site-specific installations to video art and new media. He has participated in several shows in India and abroad like the ‘Sarai Reader 09’- curated by Raqs Media Collective, held at Devi Art Foundation, Gurgaon, ‘Sojourn’: a group show by recipients of Krishnakriti Scholarship in New Delhi, ‘A4ARPLE’ – a group show of young and contemporary artists of India in New Delhi, to name a few. In 2015 he started his teaching career. He has been a part of many reputed schools and colleges in the NCR of Delhi and collaborated actively with students for public art, community arts, murals, installations, art and design collaborative projects etc.
