Vaibhav Sharma

Assistant Professor, School of Creativity

Vaibhav Sharma is a visual artist, from Faridabad, Haryana. He has done his graduation (BFA) and post-graduation (MFA) specializing in Sculpture. He has been a recipient of scholarship for young artists (2011-13), from ministry of culture, Govt. of India; and later in the year 2013 he received Krishnakriti Fellowship for young artists, to Marseilles, France. His works extends from conceptual, experimental, site-specific installations to video art and new media.

He has participated in several group shows in India and abroad like: 2014 ‘Sarai Reader 09’:curated by Raqs Media Collective, held at Devi Art Foundation, Gurgaon, 2017-18 ‘Soujourn’: a group show by recipients of Krishnakriti scholarship held at Alliance Francaise, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, 2012 ‘A4ARPLE’: a group show of young and contemporary artists of India, held at Gallery Raagini, Lado Sarai, New Delhi, are to name a few.

In 2015 he also ventured into teaching, since then he has been part of many reputed schools and colleges in Delhi-NCR and collaborated actively with students for public art, community arts, wall murals, installations, art and design collaborative projects etc. At present he is an assistant professor and course leader for foundation year program at School of Creativity, Rishihood University, Sonepat, Haryana.
