MP ABHISHEK SINGH TO ADDRESS THE CSR PARTNERSHIP ROUNDTABLE IN DELHI ON 5 JAN

NEW DELHI: Shri Abhishek Singh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, will deliver Keynote address at CSR Partnership Roundtable being held at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on 5th January, 2018 at 5 pm.

He will be sharing his thoughts on how Corporate Social Responsibility fund can play important role in driving the socio-economic development programs in one of the remotest region such as Rajnandgaon and Kabirdham of Chhattisgarh state.

In order to explore potential collaboration for effective CSR implementation, the forum is being jointly organised by India CSR Network (India’s Largest CSR Network) and District Administration of Kabirdham and Rajnandgaon. Forum is supported by Leading English Weekly OPEN, Science Education company Stem Learning, NGOs Galway Foundation and Vision India Foundation.

Rusen Kumar, Founder of India CSR Network said, “The objective of the forum is to brainstorm on ways to align CSR interventions for human development in 2 districts – Rajnandgaon and Kabirdham in Chhattisgarh state and will involve participation from corporates, district administration, civil society, think tank and professionals working in the CSR space.”

A Govt. official said, “While the Government continues to work towards development of the state, the corporates can supplement the effort. A convergence of the efforts of the Government and the corporates would help bring equitable development as a result of focused approach towards implementing CSR activities with defined priority geographies and interventions.”
